Asynchronous Programming - Easier to do than spell

Asynchronous programming used to be a tricky, somewhat scary concept in programming, with concepts like threads and tasks being thrown around.  This talk will introduce some classes new to C# 4.0 that make spinning up threads even easier than they used to be.  Also demonstrated will be setting up and using queues, a key concept in sending off content so that another process can handle it as needed.

Erik Peterson

Erik is a .NET developer with over 8 years of experience in web application development.  The only thing he likes more than learning new stuff is attempting to tell other people about it.
